The CrossFit franchise will join the Halal Guys, Momonoki, and Momo Cafe in the retail spaces on the ground floor of Modera Midtown. Graphene is the first business to move into the Modera Midtown retail space since the Halal Guys in 2018.

The 3,739-square-foot space is located in an area already well-populated with fitness spaces. The 17th CrossFit location in Georgia, Graphene is just a 15-minute walk south of CrossFit Midtown, which opened in 2005.

CrossFit was founded in Santa Cruz back in 2000 by Greg Glassman and Lauren Jenai. Glassman resigned and retired as CEO of the company in early June due to backlash from controversial tweets he posted regarding George Floyd’s death.
