The Little Tart Bakeshop/Octane hybrid slated for The Jane at Grant Park

The Little Tart Bakeshop, a bakery specializing in french-style confections sold at various farmers markets around town, is joining forces with Octane for a new Grant Park venture, according to Omnivore’s Laura Horton.

Located at 437 Memorial Drive inside The Jane at Grant Park, — which houses Six Feet Under and Republic Social House — the bakery will be a full-service shop for The Little Tart.

Horton reports the shop will open in August and that Octane will operate a full bar at the bakery.

Breakfast menu items will include croissants, brioche with local fruit jam, scones, brunch puffs, and local bacon and spinach quiche.

The lunch menu will offer local veggie tarts, more quiche options and salads. Desserts like the dark chocolate and sea salt caramel tart will also be served.

  1. Thrilled to hear this news! Love that The Jane has really come to life and is now bringing a much-needed cioffee shop to that corner!

  2. Laura – it’s only about 4 miles down Monroe/Boulevard from Ansley. Make the trip to support a local business. Even if its not every day I am sure they’d appreciate it.
