The Atlanta-based real estate investment trust will build an additional five levels of parking containing another 359 parking spaces, the roof of which will be green space featuring a pedestrian plaza, the filing shows. It lists a cost of construction at 3350 Peachtree Rd. of just over $22 million.

Cousins Properties presented its plans to the local special interest zoning district in October, calling for a new 52,500-square-foot pedestrian plaza and additional 341 parking spaces, which would bring the project’s total to 1,004, according to slides from the presentation.

Also part of its plans in the fall were an additional 9,800 square feet of office space and 2,300 square feet of “bistro/sundries” space.

Cousins Properties didn’t respond to a request for comment on its progress at 3350 Peachtree Rd.

The company’s scope of work at the 432,550-square-foot office property also entails reworking the shared driveway between 3350 Peachtree and 3344 and 3348 Peachtree to provide better automobile and pedestrian access between properties, this week’s filing shows.
