Faherty is expected to open in Alpharetta at Avalon this summer. The 2,800-square-foot store will be located near Urban Outfitters.
The family-owned brand features comfortable, high-quality, sustainably minded apparel. It was founded in 2013 by twin brothers Alex and Mike Faherty, along with Alex’s wife, Kerry Docherty.
The Avalon outpost will be the third Georgia location for Faherty, which also has a store in Buckhead at Shops Around Lenox and one in Savannah.
Faherty is one of several retailers expected to land at Avalon this year. New tenants also include the jeweler Brilliant Earth, leather goods company Fount, fragrance house Jo Malone London and women’s clothing brand Reformation.
Avalon celebrated its 10th anniversary last fall. Jamestown now manages the destination after the company’s acquisition of North American Properties’ Atlanta subsidiary last year.
“We’re excited to continue evolving our leasing strategy and couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than by sharing this announcement with our guests,” Adam Schwegman, director and head of retail leasing at Jamestown, said in an announcement about the upcoming retailers. “All these brands are either first-to-state or currently only have intown locations, so their additions will further solidify Avalon as a go-to shopping destination.”
