Chopt Creative Salad Company, the New York City-based fast casual salad chain, is expanding in Metro Atlanta. Two new restaurants in Marietta and Norcross, respectively, are now in permitting stages, with construction expected to kickoff during the second quarter of 2022.
Chopt – East Cobb, in Marietta, will be located at 4250 Roswell Rd, Suite 620. Chopt – Peachtree Corners, in Norcross, will be at The Forum, located at 4880 Peachtree Corners Cir.
Each eatery will be about 2,500 square feet, with 40 to 50 seats for customers, and a large exterior patio for outdoor seating, according to a publicist for the restaurant chain. The company has partnered with Sargenti Architects as the architect of record for these new restaurants.
These latest Chopt openings are part of a larger move into the Southeast region by the salad chain. In addition to opening three new Atlanta metro restaurants in 2022 — including one in Dunwoody arriving this April — Chopt will also have several locations in Maryland and Virginia.
“The Southern region is special because it’s highly residential and family-driven, and there’s a big need for fast casual options that are high quality, convenient, and flavorful,” said Chopt Co-founder Colin McCabe in a press release statement. “Our continued expansion in the Southeast is also partially in response to our guests’ requests for us to come to their area and we’re happy to oblige.”
Chopt Salad in Marietta is expected to be open for business in October; Norcross, in November.
