Chipotle Mexican Grill To Replace N.Y. Pizza Exchange in Vinings Station

Fast-casual restaurant chain has been green-lit to begin its buildout.

The quick-service chain has been given the green light by Cobb County to convert a second-generation space, most recently occupied by N.Y. Pizza Exchange, into its newest Chipotle.

An estimated $487,000 will be spent converting the 2,602-square-foot endcap pizzeria into the burrito joint.

Curtis White, the regional construction manager for Chipotle, confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta Wednesday, but would not comment on the timeline for its opening.

Chipotle’s PR team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

      Maybe a national chain is the only business that can afford to rent that space.
