Rushing Trading Co. will be an elevated, brick-and-mortar version of Chillybean, a catering company, and food truck often spotted on film and television sets throughout the state.

The 1,600-square-foot restaurant, at 5029 W. Broad Street, will offer the coffee and eats synonymous with Chillybean with the addition of libations and dinner options.

“Sugar Hill is an open-container City, so at Rushing Trading Co. we’re adding craft beer, craft spirits, and keg wine,” Amber Rushing told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

“In the morning and throughout the day we will serve our usual suspects.”

Those usual suspects served counter-style include “handcrafted coffee from our local roaster,” pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and quiche from the restaurant’s Norcross supplier.

For dinner with table service, the Rushings are adding “gourmet charcuterie boards” to the menu.

Loose leaf teas and milkshakes will also be available.

The corner space will offer 57 seats inside and out and with an “Alpine Modern” look and feel.

“We wanted to add in a little bit of the rustic aspect of Chillybean without Rushing Trading Co. looking rusty and dusty,” Rushing Said.

“Think subway tile, wood floors, naked lights, with a touch of industrial.”

Rushing Trading Co., currently in the permitting process with Gwinnett County, will open sometime between August 15 and September 1, 2018.
