The 708 square-foot space that Chi Chi is operating out of includes a “quaint, cozy dining room that will be available to patrons,” Hodge said.

Project: Body Atlanta, another tenant in the One Moreland building wrote of Chi Chi in a Facebook post over the weekend, “It brings me hope and joy to see that despit [sic] this crazy times Black women are being adventurous and working hard to build their dreams!!”

The One Moreland Avenue building is also expecting Smoke and Gravy, a new restaurant from the team behind Dish Dive, as What Now Atlanta (WNA) reported last year.

Chi Chi is not the only vegan eatery heading to Reynoldstown. Fast-growth vegan chain Envegan is opening soon in the nearby Modera property.

Chi Chi is planning to hold a soft opening by the end of August and a grand opening on Labor Day weekend.
