Developer Hines Monday announced women’s apparel and accessories retailer Charming Charlie is heading to Atlantic Station. Charming Charlie will be situated in a 7,536-square-foot space, at 1380 Atlantic Drive, Suite 14125, replacing Z Gallerie which has sat vacant since mid-2019. Slated to open in spring 2021, the new Charming Charlie will mark the company’s second Georgia location.
“The addition of Charming Charlie to our property represents Atlantic Station’s goal of providing an inclusive experience for our visitors,” Kristie Ray, director of marketing at Hines, said in the announcement. “Charming Charlie’s focus on empowering women through accessible style is a great compliment to the retail mix we have already established at Atlantic Station and will only further the positive atmosphere we have created on the property.”
Charming Charlie Atlantic Station will follow the brand’s merchandising theme of placing its inventory in a color-coded design. The location will feature the retailer’s traditional inventory with curated collections and “classic” pieces.
“Charming Charlie has plans to increase its brick-and-mortar footprint across the U.S., and we’re excited to bring a second store to Atlanta,” Steve Lovell, president of Charming Charlie, said. “Atlantic Station has a great built-in audience with the office and residential options right on property, and its location in the center of the city makes it a thriving retail spot. Opening this location in Atlantic Station is a great initial step in our reopening strategy, and we’re anticipating success!”
Charming Charlie is the latest tenant announcement for Atlantic Station joining the recently-opened Bowlero and Nike Unite, with additional openings planned for this spring, according to the announcement.
