The candle retail shop, known for its fragrance library of handmade candles with over 100 fragrances, could soon be Ponce City Market’s (PCM) newest tenant.

Adam Fetsch – Candlefish’s owner – this week filed plans with City of Atlanta to begin the interior buildout of Suite W 118 in the Old Fourth Ward mixed-use project, at 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE.

Fetsch is also the founder of Rewind Candles, a company that manufactures candles repurposing wine bottles as vessels, sold in places like West Elm and online at Amazon.com.

Candlefish would be situated across the breezeway from Archer Goods and next door to Alex & Ani, according to PCM’s directory.

In addition to handmade candles from Candlefish’s “team of expert Chandlers,” the retail store would also host “BYOB candle-making workshops” and offer “a curated selection of gifts and accessories.”

Candlefish launched in 2014 with a store in Charleston.
