Phase I will cost an estimated $3,000,000, according to the filings. Carvana representatives would not comment on the permit filing.

The 7,509-square-foot space will be renovated into a Customer Center with vehicle delivery bays and an “automated vehicle delivery corridor.”

The loft-style office building has a total footprint of 14,800 square feet, is located directly across 16th Street from Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 11.

The building is also accessible from Fowler Street.

The online car seller already has a location in West Midtown, at 1026 Marietta St NW,  that acts as one of the company’s much-buzzed-about “car vending machines.” The three-bay location allows customers to pickup already-purchased cars without speaking to a salesperson.

Earlier this year, the company filed for a $100M IPO.
