Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown Tuesday released new renderings.

The hotel—partially-owned and operated by Concord Hospitality, developed by Greystar and Whitman Peterson, and designed by R2L:Architectsbroke ground early-2017.

Interior designers Krause Sawyer and commissioned Atlantan local artists will be showcased in the project including Kevin Chambers, Ryan Coleman, and Emily Mann.

“Located in the dynamic and growing Midtown neighborhood, this hotel is a perfect fit for any and all guests during their next visit to Atlanta,” Mark Laport, president and CEO of Concord Hospitality, said in the release.

“It has been a privilege to work alongside Greystar, Whitman Peterson and R2L:Architects to ensure that the Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown is not only well-designed, sleek and modern but also well-operated to meet the needs of all future guests.”

The 15-story hotel will feature 176 guest rooms with city views and an additional four Canopy suites.

Each room is equipped with amenities like the Canopy exclusive gel memory foam bed with Serta Cool Balance® Technology.

The hotel will also feature a “Canopy Retreat,” over 3,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness room with high-tech equipment, and a market and café.

Canopy by Hilton Atlanta Midtown, at 1414 West Peachtree Street NW, is scheduled to open October 2018.

  1. Correction, they definitely broke ground in late 2016. How do I know? Because they willingly opted to not obey City of Atlanta noise ordinances 50 ft from a residential building starting at 6am on October 7, 2016 with excavators and dump trucks. I wish I could say it got better but they opted to run an elevator 25ft from residential windows with 4:30 am and 5:30 am starts for an entire year. Greystar should ashamed of how they conduct business.
