The open and operating business is being brokered through The Shumacher Group for an asking price of $100,000, according to a newly-minted listing for the fast-casual restaurant this week.

Cafe West Express opened its doors in July 2020, occupying the 1,500 square-foot space previously occupied by Yoforia. Owner Tammy Stokes spent $220,000 to open the business less than a year ago, the listing indicates.

While Stokes was not immediately available for comment Sunday, The Shumacher Group said the restaurateur was looking to sell “at a fraction of buildout costs” because of the distance between the seller’s Buckhead location and growth plans.”

Included in the sales price is the “fully-equipped turnkey” space and its furniture, fixtures, equipment, and rights to lease assignment — perfect for a juice bar, cafe, gourmet store, “or a million other concepts.”

This sale does not include the business, the Cafe West Express name, trademark, or due diligence on books and records. Monthly rent for the five-year lease is $6,700 “all in,” and a new tenant would have a five-year option to renew.
