New York-based Parched Hospitality Group in April 2022 will open its first of three planned Atlanta Isla & Co. restaurants in Buckhead, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The restaurant’s Instagram page lists May as the projected timeline.
Isla & Co. will open in Andrews Square, Parched Hospitality Group CEO Barry Dry told the ABC. An advert seeking a General Manager for the restaurant — listing the address as 56 E Andrews Dr. NW — confirms the news.
“Parched Hospitality Group is looking to hire a General Manager as we prepare to launch our latest restaurant concept Isla & Co.,” the for-hire listing states.
Isla & Co. hasn’t secured leases for locations two and three, according to the ABC, which reports that the company is actively scouting the City for real estate. Dry on Monday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
“I think people, especially in Atlanta, are going to go, ‘Wow, this is a completely different level of service, as opposed to what the norm is around the U.S.,'” Dry told the ABC.
Isla & Co. is one of six brands owned and operated by Parched. The other five are Hole in the Wall, The Sentry, Daintree, Isla, and Ghost Burger.
“Isla & Co. was born from the culture of the Australian hospitality industry creating an approachable dining destination in an elevated environment,” according to the restaurant’s website. “Serving specialty coffee and brunch dishes inspired by Australian coastal towns by day and a cocktail driven dinner destination by night, Isla & Co. also draws influences from Europe and South East Asia.”
Isla & Co. is a new concept from Parched with locations opening throughout the next few months in Brooklyn (March), two in Florida (April and June), and the Atlanta outpost.
