For Atlantans, the trip will no longer be necessary, as the restaurant has filed plans to open its first outpost in the city.

According to a business permit, the restaurant plans to open in the former Hottie Hawgs BBQ space in Northwest Atlanta at 2061 Main Street Northwest.

Husband-and-wife team Bryan (“B”) and Nikki Furman are behind B’s Cracklin’ BBQ. The restaurant is known for its whole-hog, heritage-breed barbecue and has been featured on Southern Living’s Top 50 BBQ Joints in the South.

Eater Charleston reports that the eatery is planned to open this fall.

  2. B’s Cracklin’ BBQ is the best. I love the chicken because I don’t eat pork. The sides and cornbread are good, too.
