BK Lobster posted on Facebook earlier this year that it is “signed, sealed and delivered,” to move to 855 Peachtree Street, where the Viewpoint Condominiums are located.
Already with multiple locations in New York, the franchise specializes in all kinds of lobster rolls and prides itself as both casual and upscale dining experience.
BK Lobster bills itself as a “fast-casual meets luxury restaurant franchise.” Based in Brooklyn, NY, its menu is designed around lobster rolls using “the finest” lobster from Maine — including a decedent, “24K Golden Lobster Roll,” pictured below.
“This new restaurant franchise is set to change the landscape of seafood dining by providing instant name recognition and built-in marketing to business owners who purchase the right to own and operate a BK Lobster,” according to a press announcement at the time of the restaurant’s foray into franchising in 2019.
“With all of my restaurant franchise experience, I decided to fill a void and create an opportunity in Brooklyn to create the concept, ‘BK Lobster,’ the lobster roll shop from Brooklyn to beyond,” CEO and Founder Rodney Bonds said. “As a veteran of the franchise industry, I am thrilled to offer an exciting business opportunity for foodies. BK Lobster is uniquely positioned in the fast-casual arena, and we know that residents will love our approach to serving quick lobsters in a luxurious setting.”
What Now Atlanta attempted to reach out to Bonds but did not hear back in time of publication.
