The filings are for the construction of the upcoming community’s five-unit Building 5, the first of 10 townhome buildings with between four and six units, according to plans on file with the city. Site plans approved last year call for 52 three-story townhome units at the 3.7-acre Upper Westside Atlanta site, which sits on the southwest corner of Hollywood Road and Spink Street.

Brock Built Homes was issued a demolition permit for eight small apartment buildings previously at the site in August 2019 and was issued a permit to begin infrastructure work last June, according to filing records.

The development will rise near other, currently selling Brock Built townhome projects. The Marietta-based homebuilder is currently selling at Main Street Commons, which is another Riverside community, and Westside Station, which, is a community in the nearby Bolton neighborhood.

Goode Van Slyke Architecture is listed as the architect for the Riverline, with SEI Engineering and Consulting Enterprises Corporation shown as the civil and structural engineer, respectively, according to development plans.
