Bowlero Corp opened its doors in Atlantic Station on Friday, a company spokesperson Monday told What Now Atlanta in an email. Bowlero’s new venue — the thirteenth in the state of Georgia — offers blacklight bowling, an arcade, and food and beverage offerings, at 261 19th Street NW Suite 1150.

Its 36,000 square-foot space was built from the ground up. Features include lounge-style seating, hi-definition video screens at the end of each lane, a hi-tech arcade featuring more than 45 games, and a sports bar.

“At Atlantic Station, we have created an approachable environment for all to enjoy, and Bowlero perfectly fits the mold,” Kristie Ray, Atlantic Station’s spokesperson, said in a press release. “A national favorite, Bowlero offers an all-encompassing bowling, dining, and arcade experience for visitors of all ages. We know having its first Metro Atlanta location at Atlantic Station will be a great value add for the in-town community and we’re excited to officially open the long-awaited Bowlero on property!”

Bowlero’s debut comes just days after Atlantic Station celebrated its 15th anniversary and after clothier LINDBERGH was announced as the center’s latest planned addition. This isn’t the first bowling alley for Atlantic Station. When the mixed-use development first opened, it came with Ten Pin Alley which closed nearly a decade ago.

  2. bowling in a pandemic? sharing the same shoes? putting my fingers in the same bowling balls as the last person? stuffy, poorly circulated air?
