Sephora will open on Feb. 14, 2020, with Biltong Bar opening in spring 2020.

“Our leasing team is constantly evolving Avalon’s street-level experience to feature best-in-class retailers and introduce cool, in-town restaurants to the North Fulton community,” said Adam Schwegman, partner and senior vice president of leasing at North American Properties.

The Sephora retail store will offer over 400 brands of beauty products.

Biltong Bar’s beverage program includes a selection of craft beers and wines from biodynamic vineyards.

The brand’s namesake, biltong, is a South African, all-natural, dry-aged beef jerky, and is featured on their rotating food menu focusing on both large and small plates.

“As we continue to grow and expand, we felt that this was a natural next step for the Biltong Bar brand,” Justin Anthony, owner of True Story Brands, said in the release.

“Whether guests are looking to grab a drink with friends or to-go items from our retail selection, we look forward to providing a bit of South Africa through our unique offerings.”

Taking aesthetic direction from Anthony’s wife and interior designer, Kelly Wolf-Anthony of Wolf Design Group, the 1,985 square-foot space will offer designated butcher-style counter service for to-go orders along with a large retail section featuring cured meats, fresh cheeses, and house-made spices and rubs.

Additional design highlights include an entirely-covered rooftop patio complete with lounge-style seating.

Biltong Bar at Avalon is the concept’s third location in metro Atlanta, joining other locations at Ponce City Market and The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.

It will be located near Apple on Boulevard East.
