Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks on Monday announced it will open its Doraville restaurant on Saturday, November 14. The Philly-style eatery is located in the Peachtree Pavilion Shopping Center, at 6035 Peachtree Road. There will be a grand opening event all day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The new restaurant is owned and operated by Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks CEO and Founder, Derrick “D” Hayes, who currently owns and operates another location downtown, at 57 Forsyth Street NW, Suite 63. “I am excited to come back to the area where it all started, having my first location six years ago in a Dunwoody Shell gas station near our newest Doraville location, it feels like home,” Hayes said in a press release.
In addition to a food truck that launched in September, the company has received over 300 franchise requests nationwide. “Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks has no plans on stopping with plans to continue expanding,” according to the release. Where Big Dave’s might end up next was not included in press materials.

advertised on channel 5 ! Wow what a mistake food was way to salty, couldn’t get anyone on the phone,.., Don’t waste your money!!!
i’ve been to their original location many times at the gas station before they moved, and it was always good
