The Atlanta Business Chronicle Friday first reported the news.

Batter Cookie Dough is on the first floor of the Central Food Hall of the Old Fourth Ward redevelopment project in “Dessert Alley,” according to the company’s website.

“As a little girl, I was always the kid waiting to lick the bowl when my mom made a fresh batch of cookie dough,” Julie Abes, Batter Cookie Dough’s owner, said in the company’s “about” page.

“That never changed, as I always craved that fantastic, creamy, crunchy batter. Of course, we have all heard it’s not safe to “lick the bowl”—UNTIL NOW!”

Batter Cookie Dough Counter’s creations are egg-less and use “heat-treated flour” to avoid baking.

The retail counter will offer a variety of cookie dough flavors as well as baked cookies. The menu includes treats like Brownie Batter, S’mores, and Salted Caramel.
