This new building, which was previously a Wells Fargo, occupies 2750 sq. ft. and, as stated in the building permit, will cost around $80,000 to construct. Ade Faderin, the owner of Fad, has planned a complete makeover for the franchise, listing on the restaurant’s website that the new location will have “a complete exterior and interior renovation.”

Additionally, it is stated on the official building permit that there will be 400 sq. ft. of commercial kitchen space, as well as outdoor grilling space.

Fad specializes in West African cuisine with a modern twist, serving traditional dishes such as Asaro, a yam porridge which is served with a type of meat. They advertise on their website that they are dedicated to providing customers with the highest quality food and professional service. “We start by using only the freshest ingredients to prepare each dish for your event, and we listen to your preferences to ensure that the menu we put together makes sense thematically and financially.”

The new location is expected to open sometime in October of 2021, according to owner Ade Faderin.
