Coffee and tea shop replacing antiques store on Roswell Road.
Look out, Starbucks. Plans have been set to create a new and cozier environment for tea drinkers and fans of the lounge experience in Buckhead.
Owner Hussam Osman submitted a permit application to City of Atlanta recently for the commercial conversion of retail space into a tearoom and bakery, at 3226 Roswell Road, across from Buckhead Saloon.
The new space, previously the antiques shop Addington Osborne, will soon become Aura Tea Lounge.
The 732-square-foot lounge will offer baked goods, teas and coffee beverages. Renovations for the space will include a deck in front for additional seating.
What Now Atlanta (WNA) made several attempts this week to reach Osman for comment, but was unsuccessful. The space is set to open before the end of the year, according to a neighboring business owner.

This place rocks, the owner is very friendly and obviously is working very hard. The atmosphere is cool and the food is amazing. It all taste great!
