Concept to headline as Java Cats Cafe after community input.

When Haydn Hilton recently shared plans via Facebook to bring a cat cafe concept to town, it was called Catlanta Cafe.

However, the social media community was quick to point out that the name was already taken by a popular local artist.

After much input from Facebook and Instagram followers, it was recently announced that the establishment will now be called Java Cats Cafe. A new logo has also been presented.

A Kickstarter campaign for the cafe is still running, with $5,750 pledged of the $20,000 goal at the time of this post.

Both Java Cats Cafe and Happy Tabby, another cat cafe concept announced earlier this year, hope to find homes on the east side of town.
