The redesign is being managed by Sky Design Atlanta and here’s what they have to say about the project:

By removing the typical retail arcade and adding a street-scape environment with individual storefronts facing a landscaped sidewalk, this center is literally “re-envisioned.”

The large retail “big box” is reconfigured and divided into smaller tenant spaces. The parking area is reconfigured to provide additional parking underneath the big box.

The long range master plan calls for two additional retail buildings to further define the internal landscaped boulevard. In addition, sky design created a custom mailing to entice shop owners to lease spaces in the renovated center.

  1. Back when they first built that shopping center (when Tower Records was there) they had a working traffic light where you’d turn in as well as pay parking gates at the entrance. It always seemed like it was retail as an afterthought. Hopefully this renovation will help.

  2. It’s still too suburban looking in my opinion. Hopefully the addition of buildings in the future will assist.

  3. DEKA Atlanta’s Grand Opening is this Sunday 10-10-10…Lululemon will open mid-November right next door. Lot’s of potential tenants viewing this week…the center is getting a major overhaul and will become a true shopping destination…

  4. I still see a strip mall dominated by a parking lot and no pedestrian access. I’ll have to wait and see the real thing.
