Rails is proposed for 252 Buckhead Avenue NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The brand sells men’s and women’s apparel, from sweaters and coats to loungewear and swimwear.
Jeff Abrams founded Rails in 2008, inspired to start a brand that blended European style and design with his California roots. Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Gisele Bündchen and Kendall Jenner are fans of Rails, according to the company.
Rails now has 14 retail locations across the globe, in addition to being sold online and in retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. The stores are generally bright, airy and minimalistic in their design.
The Buckhead store would be about 3,337 square feet, according to the building permit application. The estimated cost of construction on the space is $627,275. Studio Corbeau, a Los Angeles-based design studio whose portfolio includes the Rails store in Houston, is working on the new location.
