If the deal goes through as planned, the pizza concept from Antico Foods would rise on land currently occupied by 4 Seasons Pottery, at 336 Hammond Dr. NE.

The landowner told Reporter Newspapers the deal is final but Giovanni Di Palma, founder and president of Antico Foods, said “it’s subject to working out the development issues with the City and Cornerpoint Partners.”

“We are very sensitive to traffic burdens and also giving our patrons ample parking and ease of access, especially for take-out service,” a company spokesperson Wednesday told What Now Atlanta (WNA).

“We were offered other spaces very close by including the former Rize Pizza and Local Pizzaiolo but they decided not to go forward with their previously announced plans. Neither has ample parking to accommodate a typical Antico location.”

25-year-old 4 Seasons Pottery first went on the market in August 2017.

A Sandy Springs Antico Pizza would join locations in West Midtown, The Battery Atlanta, Avalon in Alpharetta, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium downtown.
