As the CFP National Championship game is set to happen on January 20, enjoy a premium dining experience on the eve of the game. The “Taste of the Championship” event will be hosted by the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation. On January 19, guests will gather at the Georgia Aquarium for an evening celebrating football, food, and the nation’s teachers.

The CFP Foundation is the community engagement arm of the CFP. As a non-profit organization, it supports education across the US. Donations made to the organization towards supporting teacher resources. They also take care of programming related to the recognition, recruitment, and professional development of pre-K-12 educators.

A Delightful Evening of Food with Football

Taste of the Championship will feature gourmet food and drinks prepared by local Atlantan chefs. The community hosting the 2025 national championship game will be hosting the event as well. The evening welcomes local Atlanta residents and the attendees for the national championship game. 

This event will be an opportunity for foodies to explore the unique and elevated local cuisine of Atlanta. In addition to the food, there will be live music to which guests may shake a leg. The general admission for the event will be at 7 PM EST, while the VIP entry will be at 6 PM. 

Ticket Prices for Taste of Championship

The general admission tickets are being sold for $150. Those interested in the event can get their tickets from the official site.

Taste of the Championship 2025 will have an impressive lineup of chefs serving the guests. The featured chef for this year’s event will be Atlantan native Joey Ward, executive chef and owner of critically acclaimed restaurants Southern Belle and Georgia Boy. 

The chef’s specialties include inventive flavor combinations, his signature whimsy, culinary humor, and a keen eye for presentation.

The talented Chef Ward was a semi-finalist in the “Best Chef: Southeast category” for the James Beard Award. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Trifoliate Award.

During this CFP National Championship, enjoy the flavors served by some of the best from Atlanta’s local food scene. Be delighted by the great food, amazing vibes, and fabulous company of other football fans.
