It’s the first Georgia brick-and-mortar location for the Paris-based company, but the second location in the area. A market stall is situated inside Lenox Square Mall down the street.
“If ever there was a luxury gelato product, Amorino’s treats would certainly qualify – their rose shaped gelato is every bit as delicious as it is beautiful,” Anneliese Reid, marketing manager for The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, said in a press release Wednesday.
“We are thrilled to have such a top-notch dessert concept added to our compelling mix of shops and restaurants.”
Amorino uses ingredients like free-range organic eggs, whole fruit purees and “high-grade” whole milk from France; never using artificial colorings or flavors.
Popular all-natural flavors include Stracciatella, Tiramisu, Pistachio Verde di Bronte, and Mango Alfonso d’India. Additionally, there will be gluten-free flavors and cones, as well as certified vegan options.
Amorino’s gelato artists scoop ice cream into petal shapes and create an edible rose.
In addition to scoops, Amorino Gelato will offer shakes, Italian cafe pastries, chocolates and gelato-filled macarons.
Amorino is located in Center Plaza, between Attom and Tod’s.
The store’s hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Amorino was created in 2002 in the heart of Paris on Ile St Louis by two Italian natives, Cristiano Sereni and Paolo Benassi.
Amorino since its founding has opened nearly 200 stores around the world including Paris, Milan, New York, and Atlanta.
