“We have always had a goal to open a location in Atlanta, and we want this Amici to be the Flagship of our brand,” Mike Torino, CEO, said. “Not only will this be a great location for students, but our recipe of food, friends and fun will translate just as well from our guests in Madison, Ga., to those in Atlanta.”

Amici will brew its own beer out of its 4,000 square-foot restaurant. The 20 barrel small-batch brewery system has the tanks positioned behind the bar and will brew house beers according to the seasons and preferences of local guests. Amici will also serve spirits, wine, and a variety of other beers including those brewed in Atlanta.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. — bar open until 11 p.m. — and has seating for 100 inside and a patio with seating for 60. The restaurant will also feature a bar with TVs and occasional live entertainment.

“Amici is the Italian word for friends, and we want Amici to be a place for friends to gather or a place to meet people and make friends,” Torino said. “Italians are known for great food and welcoming people to sit at the table and enjoy. That’s what we want Amici to be here in Atlanta. A gathering place for everyone to sit, enjoy the food, the wine and beer and celebrate friendships.”

Amici’s menu features pizza favorites like The Works, The Woodsman, The Gardenia, and the Pineapple Express, as well as more unique pizza offerings like Summer in Turin, a white pizza with diced tomatoes, Feta cheese, garlic, and basil. Additionally, they have a selection of classic pasta such as Chicken Parmesan, scratch-made Fettuccini Alfredo, Spaghetti Marinara and Tortellini, as well as a variety of salads, soups, burgers, and hot sandwiches to round out the menu to cover all your hunger needs.

Founded in 1993 by Mike and his son Chris Torino, Amici has restaurants throughout Georgia, including Athens, Macon, Milledgeville, Madison, Monroe, Lake Oconee, Fayetteville, Covington, and Conyers, earning a strong student following near the nearby college campuses.

Amici will offer pay-at-the-table convenience via an app called Sunday. For those wishing to dine at home, guests can place delivery orders through DoorDash. Validated parking for two hours is available in The Mark deck.
