The restaurant, owned by Consilient Hospitality, will be similar to its sister location in Fort Worth, Texas.

“At American Food and Beverage, you join us in supporting the surrounding agriculture that embraces the traditions of the region and best cooking technique possible,” Jeremy Miller, the restaurant’s executive chef, said in a press release earlier this year.

Miller, a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, began his career at Seeger’s and Relais & Chateaux restaurant before joining Jean Georges Vongerichten at his flagship restaurant, Jean-Georges in the Trump Hotel Central Park in New York, and later Thomas Keller at the French Laundry in the Napa Valley.

American Food and Beverage was planned to open as “AF&B” at Buckhead Atlanta until the restauranteur behind F&B located down the street from the competing restaurant filed a complaint with the Superior Court of Fulton County and won.
