Revised in the last year, project plans submitted and approved in 2019 had called for 245 units and 186 hotel rooms to rise at 3314 Piedmont Rd. NE., a parking lot at the Buckhead Place shopping center.

A special administrative permit application for the latest, apartment-only plans for the site was approved last month, city records show.

Plans call for 35 studios, 185 one-bedrooms, 55 two-bedrooms, and 15 three-bedrooms over three levels of parking with about 530 spaces.

The architect for the planned development is Brock Hudgins Architects.
