Nearly a year behind schedule, Alon’s Bakery & Market will finally debut its massive Phipps Plaza restaurant on Monday, September 20, according to an announcement Sunday on the company’s Facebook page.

“Tomorrow is the day!,” Alon’s posted to the social media platform alongside a picture of its team masked up and ready to welcome Atlantans. “We are so excited to be opening in Phipps plaza mall (next to Nordstrom’s facing peachtree) stop by and show some love.”
The namesake of Executive Chef/Owner Alon Balshan, Alon’s Bakery & Market has two locations in Morningside and Dunwoody with catering options available across metro Atlanta.
“Offering customers a unique atmosphere that emulates the authentic feel of a European market, Alon’s Bakery & Market is known for its high-quality, made-from-scratch selection of baked breads, European-style cakes, handmade pastries, gourmet sandwiches, freshly prepared foods, fine cheeses, exquisite chocolates and more,” a description for the Phipps Plaza storefront on the mall’s website states.
Alon’s Bakery is one of several new tenants arriving at the ritzy Buckhead mall as part of an expansion that will bring a new hotel, NOBU restaurant, LIFETIME Fitness facility, and more.
