In November, What Now Atlanta reported on Aloha Poke Co.’s move into the Georgia market with the help of Randy Elias, who brings a career of franchising experience to the table. At the time, the location for the debut storefront was not yet settled. A mere three months later, almost to the day, Aloha Poke has announced its new storefront at 3348 Cobb Parkway in Acworth.

“I have owned and operated the Moe‘s Southwest Grill in the same shopping center for the last 18 years,” Elias explained over email. “In that time I’ve seen the area grow into a bustling retail corridor. Owning and operating the space next to Aloha Poke will allow for greater economies of scale as well as cross-marketing.”

Elias anticipates the spot will be prime for take-out orders, and the storefront will seat 20 in a space featuring welcoming Hawaiian vibes.

While currently focused on the launch of Aloha Poke’s first Georgia location, Elias says in time he may consider growing the brand in the area. “As things progress I am looking to open more in the immediate area in the next year or two,” he added.

Aloha Poke Co. first opened as a small food stall in a Chicago train station. Today, the company has expanded its footprint to 17 locations, found in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Florida, and Washington D.C.

A mid-to-late April opening is expected for Acworth’s storefront. To follow along with updates, find the location on social media.
