Savi Provisions and Jittery Joe’s Coffee will be situated on the hotel’s ground floor.

The 140-room Aloft is slated to open in 2020 joining the already established 16-story, 264-room Omni Hotel.

“The addition of another hotel inside The Battery Atlanta continues our transformation of this community not just physically, but financially through the tax digest and the velocity of leases further showcases the success of this unique destination,” Mike Plant, president and CEO of the Braves Development Company, said in the release.

“Aloft will be the perfect complement to The Battery Atlanta. Guests coming to a Braves game, a concert at the Coca-Cola Roxy, or those here on a business trip can stay in a convenient location.”

News of the Aloft follows an announcement last month that Thyssenkrupp will open its North American headquarters at the Cobb County mixed-use development with a 420-foot tall elevator qualification and test tower.

A Silverspot Cinema is also planned for the development.
