Lewis is the restauranteur behind West Midtown’s Bocado, Alpharetta’s Bocado Burger, and Inman Park’s Amer.

Al Forno’s is expected to open at the end of August on the street-level of SkyHouse Midtown, at 1080 West Peachtree Street NW.

Pizzas from Al Forno’s will be assembled at the restaurant but won’t be baked there, according to the AJC. Instead, the pizzas can be picked up or delivered to be finished at home.

“We’re taking restaurant-level quality food and developing it with the intention of having people finish it off at home,” Lewis told the AJC.

“We want people to have a hand in finishing their own meals.”

Al Forno’s will serve some ready-to-eat items such as salads and small plates like marinated olives and tomato bisque that can be enjoyed on site, or ordered to-go like the pizzas.

Lewis did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
