The restaurant will open in space formerly occupied by Vine & Tap in the Lenox Village shopping center, according to owner Gino Valeriani.
The new location will share the Adobo name and ambiance with slight changes to the menu.
The Lenox Village space is much smaller than the original Adobo, so the menu will focus more on tacos and sharing-friendly tapas plates, Valeriani in a telephone interview told What Now Atlanta.
He plans to feature favorite dishes from the original restaurant’s menu as weekly specials, with a different special available each day of the week.
The restaurant’s owners hope to build on the long-standing success and reputation of Adobo, which has become a neighborhood favorite in John’s Creek.
Valeriani plans to lure office workers in the area with quick lunch options, as well as the Buckhead happy hour crowd in the evenings.
