Something new is coming to Little Five Points.
Beyond Berry is planned for 1145 Euclid Avenue NE, a new brick-and-mortar space for a concept that serves authentic Brazilian açaí bowls.
Beyond Berry can currently be found in Alpharetta, partnering with Fetch Park in July 2023 to bring a shipping-container food option to the park. Prior to opening there, Beyond Berry did pop-ups and offered pick-up and delivery.
Owner Carolina Costa is excited to be in Little Five Points after spending time trying to nail down the perfect brick-and-mortar location.
“I was looking more and more and couldn’t really find anything, then I found the place in Little Five Points that seemed perfect,” she told What Now Atlanta. “It wasn’t too big, and I’ve always loved that area. I felt like it would be huge for us to be there. There’s a lot of foot traffic. I love all the alternative places they have there – restaurants, vintage stores. I thought it would be an amazing space.”
After moving from Brazil 10 years ago, Costa – who does double-duty as a music DJ – had trouble finding authentic açaí like the kind she enjoyed back home.
“It felt like the city would like to try something authentic like that, something from back home,” she said. “That’s when I started thinking about it.”
Now, Beyond Berry serves build-your-own bowls with a variety of toppings – berries, granola, honey, chia seeds, almond butter, cacao nibs and more – to fans around metro Atlanta. The menu also features pão de queijo, Brazilian cheese bites.
Beyond Berry is expected to open in Little Five Points in May 2025. They are planning to remain in Alpharetta as well after the new location opens.
