Aaron’s, the lease-to-own furniture, appliance, and electronics company, will add an eleventh store in the area, according to a building permit application filed with the City of Atlanta. The retail store will open in Citi Center Shopping Center, the shopping mall located at 2685 Metropolitan Parkway.
The permit application details the remodel of the existing 20,598 square-foot space, the cost of which is estimated at $500,000. An overhaul to the space will take the form of new non-load bearing interior partition walls, ceilings, lighting, finishes, and fixtures.
Headquartered right here in Atlanta, Aaron’s has been in operation since 1955, and today the brand manages over 1,300 corporate-owned and franchised stores in 47 states and Canada. The company offers a non-credit based leasing system with monthly payments and charges no delivery fees. Aaron’s carries brands like Samsung, GE, Lane, and Woodhaven.
We reached out to representatives from Aaron’s but did not hear back at the time of publication, so the opening timeline for the store remains unclear. At Citi Center, Aaron’s will join other retailers like City Gear, american beauty 2, and Nail Tip Salon.
