June 3 was the last day for operation at Storico Vino, and the space will be replaced with Pachengo’s at 3065 Peachtree Road NE, Suite B210, Atlanta, GA 30305.

According to an Instagram post, the renovation for Pachengo’s will be quick. The remodel and rebranding are expected to be completed by the end of July 2023.

The social media post also described Pachengo’s as “a Mexican taqueria that we feel will be a fun and exciting addition.”

After two years in operation, Gianni and Peterson decided to close Storico Vino. However, the restaurant’s staff will not be without employment until the remodel build out is completed.

Storico Vino staff will work at the owner’s other Atlanta-area restaurants until Panchego’s completion, returning to serve patrons at that time.

Panchego’s will be a casual Mexican eatery offering lunch and dinner. The menu will have an array of tacos, burritos, tostadas, craft tequila-infused cocktails, and a featured wine collection from South American countries.

Panchego’s purpose in the Buckhead area is to provide a sense of variety with the vast number of Italian restaurants currently in the area.

The upcoming Panchego’s location won’t be the only one as Gianni and Peterson are currently in lease negotiations for a second location near the duo’s Forza Storico on the Westside.
