Urban Active takes space in jabbing distance to Dick’s Sporting Goods
Urban Active, a full-service fitness center, is opening in Buckhead.
Located at 3535 Peachtree road inside the Lenox Marketplace, space 300, Urban Active will occupy 37,102 square feet.
The shopping center is anchored by Target and other tenants include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Filene’s Basement, Publix and Staples.
EOP Architects will design the space and a building permit was filed with the City of Atlanta on Dec. 27. The permit called for, “Interior demolition to finish space for fitness center with mezzanine and canopy additions and facade renovations.” Given those details, there is currently no available time frame for completion.
Founded by Royce Pulliam in 2007, Urban Active has locations in six states including Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and their most recent in Omaha, Nebraska.
Urban Active Buckhead will offer strength training and cardio equipment in addition to racquetball, basketball and swimming.
The Bukchead location will also offer advanced personal training, dynamic group exercise classes and available childcare.
