Josh Rodgers is a writer, content creator, and DEI practitioner originally from Memphis, TN. He works with Habitat for Humanity International – creating strategies, tools, and resources that support the organization’s global DEI strategy for over 1,000 local affiliated organizations.
Josh also serves as a content writer for Blavity, Inc. His work can be seen across several of the organization’s verticals, including AfroTech, Blavity News, and Shadow & Act. Josh is also a contributing writer for Buzzfeed, highlighting the nuanced experiences of Black culture and entertainment.
When he isn’t writing and disrupting spaces with his DEI work, he can be found on the mic as the co-host and founder of The Jigsaw Podcast. It’s a platform dedicated to helping Black millennials attempt to navigate life, the craziest puzzle piece ever created.
Josh holds a B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College, an MPA in Non-Profit Management from Arkansas State University, and an MPP in Community and Economic Development from Georgia State University.
Josh lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, Asha, and two sons, Joshua II and Jayden Alexander.
