The coffee purveyor is expected to open in the downtown building, which recently underwent a $5 million renovation, in May.

Revelator Coffee more than doubled in size last year after acquiring Atlanta-based Octane Coffee, with 101 Marietta Street becoming the ninth location in Atlanta city limits.

“The incredible momentum happening in downtown Atlanta is undeniable, and makes 101 Marietta Street the ideal location for our next shop,” Tony Riffel, formerly CEO at Octane Coffee, now director of retail at Revelator Coffee, said in the release.

“There are many symmetries between who we want to reach and who works in and around the building, which has become a hot spot for top talent. Revelator Coffee believes this partnership will open new doors for both parties, and we look forward to serving our loyal customers who live, work and enjoy downtown.”

Revelator Coffee is part of the “Third Wave” movement, which emphasizes ethical sourcing and connection to growers through thoughtful cultivation, selective harvest and careful postharvest practices.

Other Revelator locations include the Westside, Grant Park, Spring Street, Ponce City Market and Whole Foods: Chamblee-Brookhaven. Octane locations include the Westside, Woodruff Arts Center and Atlanta Tech Village.
