The facility would include 1,190,000 square feet of data center space across three buildings on approximately 60 acres, according to a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) filing.
The project referred to in the filing as Fairburn Technology Center would be located at 8125 Bohannon Drive.
The developer is listed as Bohannon Road Venture, LLC, which was created in November 2023, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. The group is a subsidiary of Strategic Real Estate Partners, an Atlanta-based industrial real estate development company that was established in 2019.
According to the DRI filing, the Fairburn Technology Center project is expected to be complete in 2028.
Fairburn is southwest of Atlanta.

What does, “a pedestrian connection going through Church Street to the BeltLine,” mean? That refers to the portion of the BeltLine that runs through the QTS site right – and not the BeltLine that is currently being constructed along Marietta Blvd to the west?
i presume it means a spur that will connect to the Beltline Trail Connection that is currently active just north of Donald Lee Hollowell Rd. I connect to that trail currently down Lowery which does have sidewalks but many sections are in disrepair. This would be a really nice way for all the Marietta Street Artery residents to access the trail. Those closer up to Northside could just hop over to the other side of the trail by the new Echo Street development.
