The Atlanta office of marketing and advertising firm Iris Worldwide brilliantly leaked six over-the-top logo designs and names for the newly announced team like, the “Atlanta 96ers”, “Kick-Fil-A”, and the “Atlanta Layovers”.

“Since the Atlanta MLS team was announced there has been much debate over what the team should be called,” Simon Candy, Creative Director at Iris Worldwide, told What Now Atlanta in an email.

“After hearing that it would be up to the public to decide and the debate became more heated over what Atlanta is ‘famous for’ our team of soccer fans at iris decided to have some fun with our own suggestions.”

But Candy and his team don’t anticipate Blank will actually go for one of their tongue-in-cheek names (our vote is for “Kick-Fil-A”).

“Ultimately we’re very excited about the prospect of a team coming to Atlanta and hope that Arthur Blank sees iris’ designs and gives us a call to help him create the real MLS Atlanta team identity.”
