Lenox Square Mall to get fast casual sandwich franchise.

Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, a fast casual sandwich franchise, is opening in Buckhead.

The sandwich shop will open at 3393 Peachtree Road inside the Lenox Square Mall food court.

Which Wich will take space below California Pizza Kitchen in the now shuttered Wafflery (Cinnabon before that).

Brian Dralle, the franchisee of Atlanta’s first Which Wich — located at Atlantic Station — will open the Buckhead location.

Which Wich is scheduled to begin serving by mid august, Dralle told What Now Atlanta in an email Thursday. Permits to begin construction on the space where filed with the city of Atlanta early June.

“We selected Lenox Square because their [demographics] match what we are looking for,” Dralle said. “The amount of people that visit [Lenox Square] make it a great fit for us.”

This won’t be Dralle’s last Which Wich location, he said.

In October, What Now Atlanta ran into Jeff Sinelli, the founder of Which Wich, while he was shopping at White Provision’s Environment boutique. Sinelli was scouting space for new Atlanta locations.

Where would you like to get your next “superior sandwich?”

  1. How about in the old Noon space on Crescent Ave in Midtown? Or one of the retail spots in Viewpoint on Peachtree Street. Or the old Goodfellas Pizza Downtown on Peachtree Street? Someone please fill all these empty spaces it’s depressing!

  2. Agreed. What’s with all the vacant space downtown next to Hooters and Hard Rock? It looks awful. It looks like downtown Detroit. It should be the highest priority to fill the downtown space but its been sitting vacant for years. Maybe after the city threw Goodfellas Pizza out on the sidewalk, other potential restaurants want nothing to do with the city of Atlanta. It just looks awful and sends a terrible message that the city is closed for business.

  3. Could you bring one North of Atlanta in the Kennesaw, Town Center Mall area. That would be good for people who do not go into Atlanta. This area is really growing. I live 20 minutes from Kennesaw and would drive there to eat. I drive there to eat at Panera Bread already. Also, you would have the Kennesaw State College crowd. I live in Cartersville which is too far to drive into Atlanta for just a sandwich. Anyway, the rest of us north of Atlanta would like to have one.
