Permits last week were filed with City of Atlanta to buildout the store at 876 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd.

Per representatives of the business who spoke with What Now Atlanta, the pharmacy is still in the planning stages and has many other levels of permitting to clear before it can begin buildout.

The new pharmacy could potentially join a Goodwill Store and Donation Center and Dollar Tree in the West End neighborhood, just across the street from the Mall at West End and Soul Vegetarian.

It will likely face competition from a CVS Pharmacy nearby.

The location is a few blocks from the West End Trail section of the Atlanta BeltLine, one of the first sections of the trail to be completed.

That section of the popular BeltLine has lately seen renewed interest, as Honeysuckle Gelato and Monday Night Brewing recently opened facilities along the spur.
