The frame shop will replace the now shuttered Providence Antiques on N. Highland Avenue, opening in the same shopping center as the soon-to-open Burger Tap (replacing Caramba Cafe, which relocated to Pencil Factory Lofts).

Movies Worth Seeing closed earlier this year at the same shopping center and Casseroles Restaurant opened.

The Great Frame Up filed a permit with City of Atlanta earlier this month for a “tenant finish” to the space. The estimated cost of construction for the frame shop in its new location is estimated at $40,190.00, according to the permit.

When The Great Frame Up will open has not been confirmed.

  1. We are the owners of this new The Great Frame Up store. We are very excited to be opening in the Morningside neighborhood and hope that everyone will come on out to visit us when we open in early December.

  2. B.A. Framer, which was across the street, closed back in 2009, so it’ll be great to have a frame shop back on the block again.

  3. The Great Frame Up will be opening the week of December 12th. I’m really looking forward to seeing the store and getting back to my old neighborhood for a few days!
