Plans filed Friday for electric car retail center and charging station at Buckhead mall.
Lenox Square Mall is getting a Tesla Motors showroom and charging station.
Simon Property Group, the luxury Buckhead mall’s developer, submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta Friday to renovate suite 3024B into the electric car retail center.
An estimated $330,000 will be spent in commercial alterations to the 3,245-square-foot space, at 3393 Peachtree Rd., according to the permit application.

I live across the street and my Tesla is to arrive in September. I think Lenox Square is excellent choice.
This is excellent marketing for Lenox Square. Malls across America, need to find more ways to market their properties, as the internet closes in on the business.
