Did we mention Godiva is expanding?

Lindt will close its 7-year-old location at Lenox Square Mall this weekend.

The Master Swiss Chocolatier is located on the upper level of Lenox, adjacent to Bloomingdale’s. Before Lindt, Barnie’s Coffee occupied the space.

In more positive chocolate retail news, Godiva will  close its location on the first level of the Neiman Marcus Luxury Wing at Lenox Square Mall and relocate to the former Miss Sixty/Energie space on the mall’s second level near Abercrombie & Fitch. Godiva will reopen with a larger space and is promised to offer a lounge feel offering seating and Wi-Fi, but is not confirmed.

Prada will occupy a portion of the current Godiva space, with Salvatore Ferragamo taking a portion also.

Perimeter Mall lost GEOX, a shoe retailer, which  shuttered on Jan. 22.  GEOX first opened in May, 2008  on the first level in the Nordstrom wing.

Merino, a boutique offering ontemporary upscale women’s clothing and accessories, has closed in Buckhead. Merino first opened in April, 2008 in the former CompUSA training space at The Shops Around Lenox.

Merino employees claim they will reopen after closing because of “direction issues.”

On Jan. 4, this message was posted on their Facebook page:

“We’re up in the clouds now, but have a little direction issues:) We are working hard to get back up online in a few days and ready to go again. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions meanwhile. See you up there soon.”
